Pastor Fred has served faithfully in ministry for more than 51 years, investing his life as a pastor, youth pastor, and family ministry leader. A graduate of Warner Pacific College and an ordained minister with the Church of God (Anderson) for 42 years, he has dedicated his life to helping people discover Jesus and tell their story well.

For 40 years, Pastor Fred served with Youth for Christ, holding roles as Club Director, Area Director, Ministry Coordinator, and Executive Director. He also served nine years on the YFC National Board. After retiring from YFC, he stepped into a new chapter focused on helping others uncover their story, strengthen their relational skills, and grow in effective ministry—drawing from the wisdom he’s gained over four decades of hands-on leadership.

Since retiring, Pastor Fred has served as interim pastor for multiple congregations, guiding them through transition seasons and helping prepare them to welcome new pastoral leadership.

A gifted communicator, Pastor Fred is frequently invited to speak at churches, organizations, schools, camps, conferences, retreats, banquets, and business gatherings. His audiences range from adults to elementary students. He serves on the National TIPs Ministry Team, leads an eight-week police officer/at-risk youth workshop with the nonprofit FACE TO FACE, and regularly preaches for congregations across the United States and Canada. His background in evangelism fuels his passion for training groups in 3Story Evangelism.

Pastor Fred currently serves as the Associate District Pastor for the Churches of God (Anderson) of Oregon & Southwest Washington, where he mentors and coaches pastors and church boards.

He is married to Denise, also an ordained pastor, and together they have two adult sons.
