Jerod Brown is the Senior Pastor of WaKeeney Church of God, where he has served for 13 years. He brings 25 years of ministry experience, including roles as a youth pastor in Portland, Oregon, and senior pastor in Newberg, Oregon. Throughout his ministry, Jerod has provided pastoral care, counseling, discipleship, and leadership development for individuals, couples, and families across all stages of life.

In addition to his local role, Jerod serves as a district pastor for the Church of God in Kansas and as president of the Trego County Association of Ministries. He is also the co-founder of The Well – Center for Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational wellness of individuals and families in Western Kansas. The Well also functions as a local coffee shop and community space, offering educational programs, life coaching, therapy referrals, and financial support for those in need of mental health services.

Jerod’s years of ministry in small towns have given him a deep understanding of both the challenges and opportunities of rural life. He is passionate about equipping rural churches and communities to thrive, and he believes strongly that God’s kingdom is not limited by geography. His heart is to help bring healing, hope, and transformation to places that are often overlooked, and to raise up leaders who will do the same.
