Kerwin L. Manning is the Senior Pastor—lovingly known as the “Head Coach”—of Pasadena Church: the church with no limits. Under his leadership, this vibrant, multi-racial, multi-ethnic congregation is joyfully living out the mission of God—shepherding their city, building kingdom-minded disciples, and serving the nations.

A passionate worship leader and a dynamic communicator, Kerwin has ministered across the globe in settings ranging from university chapels to international conferences. His God-given calling to the nations has opened doors for ministry in South Africa, Cuba, Japan, and beyond—where he has led worship, facilitated gospel workshops, partnered with global churches, and even recorded music in Zulu.

Kerwin’s global ministry began expanding significantly in 2010 when Bishop Joseph Garlington invited him to serve in South Africa. Since then, Kerwin has returned annually and has continued to build meaningful partnerships and ministry opportunities abroad. His work in Japan grew from a local music conference into ongoing gospel training, choir leadership, and worship ministry throughout the country. Since 2015 he has also traveled to Cuba annually for worship evangelism and concert ministry.

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Kerwin is a graduate of Anderson University (Indiana) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion. He is the former President of the National Inspirational Youth Convention (NIYC) of the Church of God—one of the premiere national gatherings equipping the next generation of church leaders. He has also faithfully served the wider church through numerous boards and leadership roles, including a twelve-year tenure as President of the Clergy Community Coalition of Greater Pasadena—an organization committed to justice, unity, and community transformation.

Kerwin has led Pasadena Church since Easter Sunday of 2001 with his wife and ministry partner, Madelyn—a gifted communicator and anointed psalmist. Together, they recently celebrated 33 years of marriage and are the proud parents of two daughters: Madison Denise, a graduate of Howard University, and Morgan Danielle (2003–2017), who is held forever in their hearts and waiting to greet them in glory.
