Ron Frey is President of Frey Resource Group, a strategic and creative consulting firm that provides innovative fundraising services to non-profit organizations nationwide.

Ron launched his development career in 1983 as the Director of Banquets for Cru. Having served in several other ministry organizations including Mission Aviation Fellowship, Food for the Hungry, Mercy Corps International and Luis Palau Association, Ron launched his consulting career and served from 2004 to 2009 as Senior Consultant with McConkey -Johnston. He started Frey Resource Group in 2010 and has served more than 100 nonprofits in the fields of education, health care, social services, international development, and missions. Ron has trained and consulted with hundreds of organizations on stewardship, leadership, marketing, strategy, branding, and capital campaigns.

In 2019, Ron pursued an MBA in Nonprofit Management at the University of Portland which he completed in 2021. He also serves as an Associate Professor (Adjunct) at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, ILL) where he teaches the online course, Money and Ministry. He has served on the boards of Portland Christian Schools and the Northwest Christian Community Foundation.
He is married to Suzanne, and together they enjoy hiking scenic trails throughout the Pacific Northwest. They have three adult children.
